Doodleverse #2 expands on the world I began in Portugal. Introducing a new cast of cartoon characters that are just as strange and full of personality as the originals. This installment pushes the series into new territory while still representing the Doodleverse. These characters have also made it into my newer illustrations and merchandise, I’ve started using one of them as a logo image. All a reminder that this universe is constantly growing. The Doodleverse is always evolving and bringing me closer to integrating these characters into my comic project.
The bottom row features the introductory lineup for my “Funny Bunnies”, which have developed into a character universe of their own.
MEET GRIT
Featured in part two of this project, in the middle of the bottom row of characters. This is Grit. A worried, slightly terrified red bunny. His simple yet effective facial expressions make him one of my favorites to use & integrate into my business and my artwork. He is currently a keychain, available for purchase and has appeared in multiple illustrations since he was created.
